Good lord, absolutely a fail. I purchased these along with the standard On Cloud 5’s and I wish I had the words to explain the difference. I loved the look of these but the fit just wasn’t it. They are so flimsy compared to the OG On Clouds, they have zero support and I almost feel like the feel of these is that of a swimming shoe (you know the ones we would wear as kids). The fit was about a half size larger than my size and I felt that even if I had them in a better size, I just wouldn’t have enough support to wear these everyday to work. Try them out but get your return label ready!

I get lots of compliments on these babies. I have the pale blue. Just ordered another pair. For me it is true to size. Very lightweight and exceptionally comfortable for everyday use. I like that I don’t have to worry about the ties coming undone as they are fixed in place and elastic with little knots at the end right at the eye hole, so no ties flapping around. Yes, the back heel part is a little bit thin, but this adds to the lightness of the shoe and is easy enough to just pull over your heel. Stays in place no problem. Machine washing on gentle cycle keeps them looking fresh. Whenever I look at them on my feet, I feel happy.

Some of these reviews are hilariously stupid. Obviously, the back is not as thick or supportive as other On sneakers…that is the point for these! Makes you shake your head and wonder about society.
Anyway, these are the perfect travel sneaker or one to toss on to go shopping or a casual day out. They are incredibly light and comfortable to walk in. While I would never consider running a marathon in them, they are an excellent shoe for what they are…one of my favorite On or sneakers to date.

I normally wear 10.5 and feel true to size. I thought these were canary yellow for the l.a rams but it’s light green. I like u can wear without socks. Width could be a little wider but it’s okay. Can’t say much about durability but so far best athletic shoes on market.

This is my first pair of On shoes. Was looking for light summer sneakers as replacements for my Olukai boat shoes but with cushioning closer to my Hoka running shoes. While the fit was true to size, they are definitely narrower shoes at the base than both the Olukais and the Hokas, so it feels like a taller, narrower platform when walking. Its different but I think I can get used to it….the adjustable fit makes up for the narrowness and makes it feel stable enough
The cushioning is very good – dare I say on par with the Hokas for comfort. I read a lot of reviews saying that On shoes were stiff and not as plush compared with Hokas. While that may be true, the energy absorption/return is still there and holds its own. The material on the Coast is light/thin…while these are slip-on with a drop heel, there is not enough structure to slip them on hands-free. But the fit is very snug, soft and sock-like — I think it will be great for walking around without socks. Time will tell how durable they really are…I expect they will wear a little faster due to thinness but when you buy the Coasts I think you’re agreeing to that.

This is my first pair of On shoes. I bought the Cloud version wanting a light, more summery pair of walking shoes with the collapsible heel, and I knew going in I’d be sacrificing some structure/heft in return. These shoes are incredibly comfortable for walking, with cushioning on par with my Hoka running shoes. They are not as spongy as the Hokas – it’s a stiffer cushion style but the energy/impact absorption is on par. Where my Hokas can feel like a bulky suit of armor providing protection in every way possible, these On shoes feel extremely light, breathable and agile.
While the actual fit is true to size/width, the overall shoe base is narrower and less ‘chunky’ compared to my Hokas. The upper fits like a glove/sock and is adjustable, but the sole underneath is not wider than the upper (as with the Hokas). As a result, it can feel a little “taller” with less lateral stability which some may not like. I had some initial doubts at first, but I got used to this quickly. These are *super* comfortable for walking / standing, which is what I was going for. There’s not a ton of extra arch support, but somehow the adjustable laces provide a snug fit, and the cushioning provides enough support to keep this from being a big issue.
When you choose the Coast version, know that you are getting a thinner, more breathable upper with a collapsible heel. The interior is super soft and feels great without socks for casual wear. The thinness probably will mean they are less durable, but this is probably not the model people should choose for maximum durability.

Very thin top, which makes this shoe very breezy. In any warmer climate this is a great walking shoe. You can run in it, but would not be my first choice for that.

These are just awesome – super light weight and comfortable. Love the no tie laces. Walking 15000-20000 steps a day with my feet not aching!! I might try a 1/2 size above my normal athletic shoe size next time though the toe box is flexible

Felt smaller. I ordered these based on my current (worn-out) pair of Clouds. Those were 8.5, so I ordered 8.5. I also felt that the “Coast” was made out of very thin material and didn’t offer much heel/ankle support. I am going back to just a plan “Cloud” in a size 9
