Super comfortable

I am on Cloud9 with this pair of Cloudrock boots! Although I’ve just put them on, I can tell they’re a little slice of heaven! As someone who needs a waterproof and durable boot, these fit the bill. I was wearing Danner Acadia. Heavy and clunky. These are not that. I am actually picking my feet up instead of shuffling my feet in those heavy duty Danners. I can’t tell how they’re going to hold up, but they’re definitely comfortable and I’m rejoicing!

Well, I do have an issue with the ankle part. It’s really stiff, like a snow boot. You need a long thick sock for comfort. This is week 2 of wearing them and the ankle part is better. I wish they made these in a wide width.

I don’t know where to start, but these shows are AWESOME!!!! My feet are in heaven!!! I tried them out on a slippery wet trail and they performed amazing!!! I have a bone sour on the side of my foot which prevents me from keeping a lot of shoes and I have a very high arch- these were comfortable right out of the box. No break in needed,AND they look great!!!!

This boots are super awesome! I work in LE and am on my feet for a good portion of the day. Right out of the box these shoes felt great. I wear them 8+ hours a day and couldn’t be more pleased. They replaced my heavy Danner boots. Also, I worked in the rain outside and my feet stayed perfectly dry! Would definitely buy again and have recommended them to several people already! Don’t change anything about them!

Very uncomfortable. I walked around the house to test them out and they rubbed inner ankles. Ouch!

MATERIAL AND BOOT WELL MADE BUT THE SHOES DID NOT HOLD THE HEEL IN THE BOOT.

Super disappointed, nowhere near as comfortable as Hoka.

Hurt getting my foot into it especially where the metal hooks were

Perfect fit and super comfortable!!

These are really cute but I’m returning. The sole is nice and comfy. They do rub on your ankle bone from the tongue I think. So that wasn’t good cuz I have sensitive ankle bones. But if you have meaty ankles might not be a problem. I do think they run a little small. I am normally a 9.5-10 in women’s. I got a 10. I only had one regular sock on and my toe was at the end of the shoe. I want to be able to wear thick socks so I decided to return. They are definitely very cool looking and if the ankle part doesn’t bother you super comfy. Im sad. I really wanted them to work.

I had a pair on on cloud trail running shoes that I LOVED. Bought a second pair about a year later and they were completely different. Terrible. I took a chance on these hiking boots and am very disappointed. The right shoe is SO uncomfortable, it feels like something in the interior is broken along a seam and cuts the inside of my foot. Also, as one review states, rubs the inside of my ankles. The ankle support is not existent for me, I have a high instep and can’t lace them tight as it cuts my circulation off. Also, the arch support is not even good. For the price, definitely not worth it and will not buy any more from this brand.

Arch support is not good, nor is the cushioning. Loved the design and color, but that doesn’t help me when I need something for a trip to rainy Scotland.

Like others similar in this brand, these ran a little short for me, and I needed to return them. With On shoes, it is hit and miss whether or not I can find some that work with the sizing. These were close, but won’t risk it with a hiking boot.

So these do not disappoint in comfort and workability like other ONs when it comes to the foot cushioning. The style is also very cute.
My only complaint is the top ankle area is very hard and rubbed on my ankles. This was not and still isn’t comfortable but the foot cushion is so comfortable it’s like which would I rather have… I also did not test them out before I took off on vacation so I had to wear them for a week and obviously can’t return based on that. If I had known the ankle was going to hurt I may have tested other hiking boots out first… I am a complete beginner when it comes to hiking boots so maybe it’s normal for the area ankle part to feel this way.
The show itself is very sturdy and I felt very comfortable walking on wet slippery areas where on regular tennis shoes I would not.
Hopefully I can get used the the hard ankle or learn tricks to overcome the rubbing.
I also half sized up so my toe wouldn’t be pushing up against on my hike. Not sure if that is why the ankle is rubbing maybe it’s to big for my skinny ankles.

I loved these shoes, but they didn’t fit. I am usually a 6 or 6.5 and ordered both. My big toe hit the end of the 6 and the 6.5 felt too big overall–wider and almost an inch too long. Such a bummer; I’ve heard great things about the brand and was excited to try some for hiking.

I wanted a comfortable, lightweight, multitasking hiker that wasn’t ugly. I thought this fit the bill. It is a NICE looking boot (although I got the color black, which hides some of the aesthetic features). It’s also lightweight, and multitasking. But comfortable? No. The footbed is GREAT. It’s the tongue of the boot that is the problem. The tongue is thick and it has to fold in in order to lace up the boot. The folded sides of the tongue are the problem. There is just no way to lace up the boot in a way that doesn’t make the folded edges of the tongue feel good. The edges of the tongue pressed into the sides of my ankle bone in a way that was always uncomfortable and sometimes even painful over time. I tried no socks, thicker boot socks, thin socks, performance socks and could not solve the problem. For $220, I expected a lot better. Unless you just gotta have the style and are willing to suffer for the LOOK, pass on these. Especially if you need them for actual hiking.

Feels great! Put them on and wore them in the house for 2 hours. I wasn’t sure what size I would wear so I ordered several sizes. The ones that were too large hurt my ankle. The correct size was perfect!

Not comfortable on my ankles
Donna –
The size and fit were as expected, as I already own a few pairs of On Clouds. However, this was my first boot order, and for me personally, the inside part of the shoe where it hits my ankle was immediately uncomfortable. There is no way I could wear these hiking. Sadly, I had to return for a refund.

This is a great boot. I use it in the winter for my Power walks in the city. It is comfortable and feels secure and stable in snowy conditions. They are also warm–up to a point. I gave it a 4 for style because of the laces. They are difficult to get done up and don’t stay tied well. My previous ON boots were pret-tied and I just slipped them on. I much preferred that. Otherwise, I am happy with them.

I would have liked these, but the tounge/ top area is very uncomfortable. Something very hard is digging into my ankle. I love my other On sneakers but these are not working.

I have had these for a year and a half now and love them! I get compliments on them constantly. I have the orange color and it really stands out; honestly this is my favorite color and I ordered them just because of it. I usually wear an 8.5 in hiking boots and these are true to size. I have a low volume, slightly narrow foot with a narrow heel and skinny ankles. These fit great but there is room if you needed it. I did not need to break these in at all. I put them on and felt like my feet were in heaven. I have worn them hiking, walking, and to work in a high school. I wear them all the time. They are holding up well also. Totally waterproof. I really don’t get all the reviews saying they hurt your ankles, not at all. I had a very bad ankle injury and these feel great and supportive. I do always wear socks that cover my whole foot/ankle. Currently the orange isn’t available in my size which makes me sad because I want to replace them before they wear out.

They fit true to size. soft cushion on soles.

I am new to the brand but recently purchased Cloud 5s and they are almost good enough to hike in, but not quite. I wasn’t thrilled at these reviews but here’s what I considered about the “tongue”/ankle fit issue…could it be new user error?
I took a chance and figured I’d wear them indoors for a few minutes to make a decision. In my thick wool socks, I took my time to position everything comfortably and when I tied them, I considered flexing my ankle to make sure there wouldn’t be awkward pressure points. I tied them snug but gently and gave them a spin. I immediately loved them. I love the height, the grippy soles, the support, wide toe box big enough to accommodate my bunion AND thick socks, and how it only took 3 days to feel broken in enough to hike in December. I wore them in sleet and rain so far without any discomfort. So far so good.
I also received several compliments from people of all ages, which was interesting and unexpected.
